What is needed most: Listening
In Austria and Germany enterprises are hiring for jobs that most of them call “Head of Social Media” or “Social Media Manager” or “Chief Social Media Officer". I am asking myself for what purposes? What do those enterprises expect? What habit do they focus?
I presume most of them - those who are not really interested in sharing and social interaction - urge their Social Media Manager to push and broadcast social wrapped advertising in as many social media channels as possible and to affect SEO. Black Hat tactics. Like Chameleons they try to camouflage, although that does not work normally.
I think that CLO - Chief Listening Officer - hit the mark. Who is focused on pushing and persuading often forgets fist to listen. But without listening you can not get into a conversation. Without conversation there is no social interaction, only broadcasting.
